Matthew E. Mazur, Jr. spent 25 years as an attorney in Florida, representing physicians across malpractice defense, general counsel, board proceedings, and regulatory matters. That work gave him an uncommon vantage point — not inside the exam room, but close enough to see what kept going wrong between visits.

The pattern was consistent: a patient leaves an appointment clinically stable, deteriorates over the following weeks with no one monitoring, and arrives at the emergency department in crisis. The data needed to intervene earlier — a trending weight change, a shifting lab value, a lapsed medication — often existed somewhere in the system. It simply never reached the physician in time to act.

Rather than design a solution in isolation, Matthew sought out leading clinical researchers who had spent their careers quantifying exactly this kind of preventable deterioration. He assembled a clinical advisory panel — including world-recognized experts in diabetes outcomes, health economics, and biomarker-driven risk modeling — and worked alongside them to architect SYNC-PREVENT™: a platform grounded in published evidence, built around FDA-cleared devices, and structured so that the physician retains full clinical authority at every step.

He founded Synchronize Health, LLC to develop and license the platform, and launched BridgeCare Louisiana, LLC as its exclusive operator in the state — bridging the gap between the risk the data reveals and the clinical response the patient needs.

Background

As president, Matthew oversees the development and deployment of SYNC-PREVENT™ across Louisiana — translating clinical research into operational monitoring programs that give physicians the structured picture they need to intervene weeks before a crisis, not after one.
